John Whitteck, Ph.D.

Growing up I didn’t give much thought to farming or food production. Food just appeared in the grocery store. It wasn’t until I began my career in agriculture that I became passionate about the subject. The past 10 years I have been committed to lending my talents to realize the full potential of agriculture in a sustainable way that employs fewer inputs and builds soil fertility. I spend my spare time with my wife and two kids. I enjoy watching hockey, learning to play hockey, and spending time outdoors hiking, biking and camping. I also enjoy exploring new places around St. Louis and beyond to find delicious food and beer.
