After many years spent in an assortment of financial services related call center jobs trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, it finally occurred to me that instead of just watching the science documentaries I so enjoyed, maybe I should find a way to do science as a career. I guess I was meant for science, because I found a great Biotechnology program through St. Louis Community College which also happened to be just down the hall from NewLeaf. I’m so glad I took the risk to change careers because I really enjoy working with all these great weirdos! (the non-weirdos are cool, too).
