SAINT LOUIS, MO, June 12, 2023 – NewLeaf Symbiotics, an innovative agricultural biotechnology company, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Purschke as its new Vice President of Finance. With a proven track record in financial management and a diverse skill set in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis, Purschke brings valuable expertise to support NewLeaf Symbiotics’ ambitious growth plan.

Purschke’s experience spans over two decades, encompassing significant roles in finance and accounting across various industries. He holds an M.B.A. degree from Washington University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Purschke’s qualifications demonstrate his commitment to excellence and professionalism in the field of finance.

Prior to joining NewLeaf Symbiotics, Purschke served as the Director of Finance at Spartech, LLC, where he successfully established and managed general accounting functions, guiding the company through audits and financial evaluations during its sale process. He also held leadership positions at Energizer Holdings, Inc., contributing to the company’s financial operations and strategic planning.
