Agriculture found me early.  Fortunately, I was born into it and grew up on a multi-generational family farm and livestock operation on the front-range of Colorado.  My professional career over the past 30 plus years has been dedicated to bringing production solutions to growers both as a corporate employee and entrepreneur.  I am particularly fascinated by the contribution biology can make to production and look forward to working with the New Leaf team to bring innovative biological technologies to growers of specialty crops around the world.   While chemical solutions are quite valuable and I have been involved with many of them, I have also come to understand that we need to balance our use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides with biologically derived solutions that can help to feed soils and plants for a healthier, safer and more sustainable food supply.  When I am not on the job I enjoy the gym, golf as a hacker, fishing, shotguns, working in the yard, traveling with my wife, family and friends.  And, I spend a great deal of time studying Entropy.
